1)   “Darkness Visible” has been juried into an exhibit at Gallery 110 in Seattle https://www.gallery110.com/upcoming-exhibitions. It will be up from February 1 - March 2, 2024.

2) Originating has been accepted by the jury for RENEWAL at the Kehler Liddell Gallery .. Exhibition dates are Jan 4- February 4, 2024.

3) Lost in Tall Bamboo will be in Art of a community 2024, a show at Arts Benecia Gallery in Benecia CA. https://artsbenicia.org/art-of-a-community-2024/ Exhibition Dates: January 20th – February 25th, 2024.

4) Serra IV will be for sale in a fundraiser for the Yellowstone Art Auction 56 - 2023. Exhibition Opening: Friday, February 2, 2024
Closing Live Auction and 60th Anniversary Gala Event: Saturday, March 2, 2024.

5) “Tornado” is one of my newest “abstracts in motion”. It has been juried into “Primal Forces: Wind” a Global SAQA show. It will premiere at the National Quilt Museum in Paducah KY, then the exhibition will travel for 3 years.

6) I was recently asked to put on a solo show in the Mountain View Center for Performing Arts lobby.  As a result of a Call for Entry, the Visual Arts Committee for the City of Mountain View selected me to exhibit a large number of my art quilts, enough to fill the 800+ linear feet of wall in the Lobby. The exhibit “Nancy Bardach - 25 Art Quilts” was up for two months - October and November 2023.

7)   Rebound was accepted for Radical Regeneration, an artist members’ exhibition at SJMQT.

8)   Elbow Kiss, one of my Covid (art quilt) orphans was accepted for COLOR 2022 at 3 Square Art in CO, June 3-July 15, 2022.

9)   Sideways is one of my Pandemic quilts, just juried into an online exhibit, ART IN THE TIME OF CORONA, 3 and will be published in a book format by DAB Arts.  It will also appear on their sales platform; Artsy. 10)   Tyger, Tyger was in FAVA’s Exhibition: AQM XIX in Ohio, 2022. Firelands Association for the Visual Arts (FAVA) Oberlin, OH 44074

11)    Still Pond – Frog Jumps In was juried into the Art Quilts XXV- Fleeting Moments exhibit at Vision Gallery, Chandler AZ. Nov. 21- Dec. 31, 2020.  It was awarded First Place in the show.

12)  Rising Tides was juried into a SAQA exhibition called “Shifting Tides - Convergence in Cloth”. It was exhibited in the Works Gallery, San Jose, traveled for 3 years, and then sold to a private party.

13)  Incurvate and Excurvate was juried into an exhibition, “Connections”, at Visions Visions Art Museum: Contemporary Quilts + Textiles, in San Diego, 2019. It was sold from that Gallery.  

14)  The Body Electric, a piece including my own knee x-rays, arrayed in columns, from my Agglomerations series, was juried into another international SAQA show called Metamorphosis. It started at the prestigious International Quilt Festival shows in Houston (November 8-11, 2018) and in Chicago (March 28-30, 2019), then traveled for 3 years.

15)   A solo show of my art quilt work, called “Lions and Tigers and Bridges, Oh My!,”  was up at Bay Quilts shop and gallery during March 2018. Many pieces sold.

Selected book and Other Publications:

Patchwork Professional, a German quilting magazine, published 8 pages of my art quilts and the Artist Statements for each piece, as an educational and aesthetic spread. February 2020 issue.

 He Always Wondered has been published in the exhibition book, for a show called "World War II Homefront Quilts 2014".

Ad Infinitum will be published in the next SAQA collection, Portfolio 23 , out in the Fall of 2016.  Portfolios contain recent works of the Professional (Juried) Artist Members of the Studio Art Quilters Association (SAQA). They are used to market the art.

Oh! Rock-a My Soul! is published in a LARK book called 500 Traditional Quilts, 2014.  It featured in LARK's associated exhibit at the Houston International Quilt Festival, 2014 and toured for two more years.

Benthos appears in the SAQA collection Portfolio 22, 2015; Composing Colors, in Portfolio 21,  2014 and Ignition has been published in the SAQA book Portfolio 20, 2013.

Brief Bio:

Education: AB Harvard University Extension, 1971 (including work at Radcliffe College, Harvard University Summer School, University of Toronto Extension, Brandeis University, UC Berkeley) ; M Arch, University of California, Berkeley, 1982.  Career: Practicing in Architecture and urban design firms for approximately 25 years, in San Francisco, Chicago, Oakland and Berkeley.
